Prism 1.1.17

MCP — Dispatch is a teammate

Queue a change from chat, watch it in the Console, and keep connectors in the host window. Prism holds no OAuth tokens.

This note is from a 1.x release, as it was written then. Prism 2.0 removed Dispatch, the VS Code and Cursor extensions, app-shell and the playground. Current changes

The prism MCP server is still one process: Intelligence for questions, Dispatch for changes.

  • Ask in plain language. A fix or a feature starts a teammate (start_job) without a ticket id.
  • The job is queued in milliseconds. Watch it live in the local Console.
  • Prism does not run OAuth. Slack, Linear, GitHub, and Calendar stay in the host window — the agent uses those connectors and composes them with Prism's analysis.
  • Workers read blast radius and the rest from the Console's existing index. They do not start a second copy of the repo.

Install remains npx -y --prefer-online @prismapp/mcp-server@latest. Reload MCP after this publish. See Usage. The Prism Dispatch guide was removed in 2.0.
